The Tornado4000 is more than just a smart compact battery charger. It is a battery maintainer, a charger, a battery desulfator and a DC power supply all in one unit. The Tornado4000 can provide a constant 13.5 volts DC to power onboard devices with a capacity of up to 4 amps. It is compatible with 6V/12V lead-acid batteries and 12V lithium-ion batteries up to 120Ah. The 5 charging options combined with the 9-step smart charging technology make the Tornado4000 extremely versatile. Thanks to its IP65 waterproof housing and cold weather operation (down to -4°F/-20°C), it can be used in various environments, while being lightweight and portable. Its operation is easy thanks to the four error indicators.

Wide charging capabilities

* Support for multiple battery types
The Tornado4000 supports a wide variety of batteries ranging from 5Ah to 120Ah, happening with all types of 6V & 12V lead acid batteries and 12V lithium batteries including LI, AGM, WET, GEL, MF, CAL, EFB.
* 5 Charging Modes
The Tordado4000 offers 5 charging modes: 12V NORM, 12V LI, 12V REP, 12V SUP and 6V NORM. Simply select the most suitable mode according to your battery and let the Tornado4000 do what it needs to do.
Stable Power Supply and Voltage Stabilizer
Providing 13.5V output power and 4A (54W) maximum current, the Tornado4000 functions as a voltage stabilizer for ECU programming and a power supply for 12V devices such as tire inflators, lamps, fans, etc. with the 12V “SUPPLY” power supply mode.

Battery Desulfurization Capabilities
Using pulse width modulation to break down sulfates in an aged battery, the Tornado4000 can effectively restore battery resistance and extend battery life, rejuvenating the battery and returning it to a proper working condition.

Safety-oriented, self-regulating power supply
As a safety measure, the Tornado400 automatically adjusts the power of the load according to the requirements based on a variety of conditions such as the charger temperature or the ambient temperature.

9-step intelligent charging function
TOPDON's patented 9-step intelligent charging provides your lead-acid battery with an optimized, sustained and comprehensive charging process. When connected, the Tornado4000 will not only charge the battery, but also act as a battery maintainer to truly repair your car battery. In addition, the Tornado4000 specializes in providing a 5-step intelligent charging function for lithium batteries.

One-touch charging and memory functions
Once a charging mode is selected, the Tornado4000 will automatically start charging without having to look at anything else.
The charger also has a memory function that will continue charging in the previously set charging mode after the charger is turned on again after being turned off.

Four clearly visible error indicators
Equipped with 4 error indicators, the Tornado4000 will not only display the detected voltage of the device, but also clearly show the charging status.

The Tornado4000 is equipped with built-in safety systems such as overheating, short circuits, overvoltage, reverse connection and sparks.
* Outdoor Safety
With an IP65 rating and an ABS outer casing, the Tornado4000 is dust and water resistant. It is also flame retardant and can withstand temperatures up to 158°F (70°C).
